Probable hybrid gulls -- Canyon County Landfill (Pickles Butte), Canyon County (Latilong 17) -- 22 December 2004.

Cliff Weisse reports that, "The dark one [right photo] is probably a Western Gull x Glaucous-winged Gull but I'm open to other suggestions. I'm confident the paler one [left two photos] is a Nelson's (Herring Gull x Glaucous Gull). The primaries look darker in the photos but they were definitely brown, not blackish. It's a big bird and the mantle (it's a second winter) was paler than nearby RBGUs too. We also saw a second Nelson's that we never got photos of."
