Well described - diagnositc field given separated it from the similar Orange-Crowned - e.g. undertail coverts in the Orange Crowned are yellow.

Written description of bird and song confirm identification of Tennessee Warbler.
010-06-2007.
Dave Trochlell -- Accept

The description was thorough and convincing. My only hesitation was that the observer said that the bird was "vireo-sized". Actually, at 4.75" Tennessee Warbler is even smaller than the similar Orange-crowned Warbler but is much smaller than any of the regularly occurring vireos in Idaho. I envy the observer for his opportunity to hear the bird's song -- a rare event virtually anywhere in the West!

Thorough description of plumage & song

Darren Clark -- Accept

Although the date seems a little early, everything else seems to fit. The combination of greenish upper parts and whitish belly are especially good.
