I feel the photo is conclusive. Both Semipalmated and Piping would have orange legs and orange base of bill at this time of year. I feel both would be visible in this photo despite the distance. Piping would also be even paler above and grayer or less brown than this individual. |

I may be wrong, but I believe I see yellow legs in the picture,. In which case, this would be a Semipalmated Plover. |

I've zoomed in on the picture and still do not see dark legs. Why can't it be a piping plover? We need a write-up with more information. |

Unfortunately, this record lacks a written description, and the photo, while of a plover, is of insufficient quality to conclusively identify Snowy Plover, though it does not eliminate that possibility. |

Reluctantly b/c with a photo of a bird this distant, I think we need at least a minimal description. That said, though the back color looks a little dark, it seems to show the facial/neck markings of an adult Snowy. |
