I accepted this report because the images clearly verify a winter-period Snowy Egret, a remarkably rare record for Idaho.

That said, I think the report should've competed Little Egret, even though this very similar-looking Eurasian wader has only been a vagrant (so far) to North America's eastern-most wetlands, and is a recently established Caribbean breeder.

In the documentation images provided, the yellow lores and limited pale gular area on the lower mandible are just two features that clearly differentiate this Snowy Egret from a Little Egret.
