| 05-28-2007. Shirley Sturts -- Accept It would be better to have each bird on a separate report but I feel the training and expertise of the observers is sufficient for an accept vote. All of the birds were seen by at least 2 observers and several key field marks used in the identification. |

Well described and similar hawks are elminated. |
| 06-06-2007. chuck trost -- Accept Good description of field marks. |

While I agree that the write-up is a bit unorthadox, there isn't much doubt in my mind that these were RSHA. |
| 6 June 2007. Darren Clark -- Accept Although a little strange to have a bird report filled out in this manner, I believe the observers did see Red-shouldered Hawks. The timing and location (western Idaho) seem right. I would be hesitant to accept a more unusual species based on this report, but Red-shouldered Hawk sightings seem to be increasing in Idaho and other western states. |

I'm changing my vote to reject. I'm not comfortable with the general nature of the descriptions. |
| 8 June 2007. Hardy -- Reject, specific identification not established I have been swayed by reading Chuck and Cliff's comments on the composite Broad-winged Hawk record, and agree with them. Yes, I would feel more comfortable if we could see more information on each record, such as observer name(s) and adult/immature in addition to date. |
27 November 2009
Diagnostic fieldmarks noted. |
| 6/11/2007. Cliff Weisse -- Reject, specific identification not established I have the same reservations about this report that I do about #81-B-06. Without even a basic description for each sighting included in the report I'm uncomfortable accepting each of the sightings reported as a viable record. |

| 06-12-2007. Dave Trochlell -- Accept Thanks, Jay for a very good report. Composite reports are difficult to make, and this one could serve as a model. |

I accept these records under the special provisions outlined by our Committee. |
| 6/26/07. Charles Swift -- Accept Same thoughts as the composite Broad-winged Hawk record. A bit unorthodox but the best way to get these important records into the record. |
2/10/10
Again a reasonable way to handle these controversial composite records. |
