Red-shouldered Hawk

This report includes 6 sight records for Red-shouldered Hawk plus field marks and observer(s) for two Red-shouldered Hawks, an immature of the "elegans" subspecies on 18 September 1997 and an immature of the "lineatus" subspecies on 28 September 2002, all at the Lucky Peak/Idaho Bird Observatory hawk watch.  The Committee feels that most or all of the 6 sight records included in this report are valid but they do not fulfill the criteria for a record because there is no description of the bird and no observers are named for each record.
