07-11-2007. Sturts -- Accept Description fits that of the Pine Warbler. Similar species eleminated by field marks provided.
13 July 2007. Darren Clark -- Accept Although a photograph would be ideal. Cliff seems to mention all features that support the identification of this bird as a Pine Warbler and his description seems to eliminate all other species.
07-15-2007. Dave Trochlell -- Accept Anybody can describe a distinctly-colored bird with relative ease, but it is assuredly difficult to describe a subtle-colored bird like a fall Pine Warbler. In my humble opinion, Cliff accomplishes this job very well in his report.
07-16-2007. chuck trost -- Accept Excellent description and careful elimination of other similar warblers and vireos.
7-29-07. Carlisle -- Accept Good, thorough description.
6 August 2007. Hardy -- Accept The key here seems to be structure - the tail extension past the undertail coverts. Good point-by-point elimination of other species.
04-13-2008. Doug Ward -- Accept While a couple of marks were not noted (acknowledged by the author), I believe the key features to eliminate similar species were described. In addition, the apparent calm nature of this bird also supports identification in my experience with this species.
