01-11-2007. Shirley Sturts -- Reject, specific identification not established There is no physical description of the bird given - only behavior. There are two other accepted records for this species (1980s) in this general area of Idaho, and this is probably a Mountain Plover. However, the documentation does not meet any of the criteria for a first Idaho record. (see bylaws)
1/11/07 Cliff Weisse -- Reject, specific identification not established This report contains no description of the bird.
1-11-07. Carlisle -- Reject, specific identification not established Tough. The observer may well have seen MOPLs and the running behavior is consistent with plovers. BUT, not a single detail (plumage, size, etc.) other than running around was described!
01-12-2007. Dave Trochlell -- Reject, specific identification not established We have no description of the bird, and thus no evidence upon which to make a judgement.
1/26/07. Charles Swift -- Reject, specific identification not established There is no description here so it is really not possible to determine if the reporter observed a Mountain Plover or somerthing else.
02-12-2007. chuck trost -- Reject, specific identification not established While this was seen be a good observer, his description was not adequate to identify this species. Also, a single observer on a first state record needs more evidence.
26 July 2007. Hardy -- Reject, specific identification not established Although the behavior sounds like a plover, there is no description of the bird's appearance.
