Weisse – Accept

I would have liked to see a description of the extent of the black throat/bib but the unmarked white underparts and lack of auricular shading, along with the head pattern described are sufficient to confirm the identification of this distinctive species.

The description seems to eliminate the possibility of a TOWA X HEWA hybrid or other similar-looking warblers, so I'm convinced.

Darren Clark--Accept

Written description was very good and hybrids were considered and eliminated.

Good description - the lack of auricular patch and streaks on the flanks seems to eliminate a Townsend's X Hermit hybrid.
