The Glossy Ibis was seen in good light with the similar White-faced Ibis close by for comparrison. Diagostic field marks listed in the report left no doubt that this is a Glossy Ibis.

The bird was described well as a Glossy Ibis. I also saw the bird and photographed it. Although the photograph doesn't show the facial pattern very well, it was obvious in the field.
