Cliff Weisse -- Accept
Jay Carlisle raised an excellent point when he questioned natural occurrence of this species. Subsequent research revealed that the timing of the observation fits the pattern of occurrence for the region. No signs of domestication were reported. Therefore I feel this is record should be accepted as a vagrant.

Carlisle -- Accept
I now change to 'accept' - largely due to Cliff's research on the timing of other accepted records in the region.

Cliff's checking of dates fit vagrancy times, and three observers wrote good notes.

Dave Trochlell -- Accept
We'll never know whether or not this candidate was a wild bird or an escape, but the timing of occurrence agrees with other accepted Garganey records in nearby states and the description was convincing.

dumroese -- Accept
During the first round I thought the descriptions were compelling. Additional evidence by Cliff further validates my initial vote.

Charles Swift -- Accept
Identification is unquestioned and I believe timing is good for natural occurrence.
