I'm voting to accept one bird, the one with the dark undertail coverts in the photos. Since the other bird with visible undertail coverts has whitish coverts I'm not sure what to make of it. It's probably just natural variation, or perhaps an artifact of the photo, but I don't know how to be sure so I don't think we should accept it. |

The birds in the pictures are very pale and the undertail coverts look white to me. Possibly it is the light the pictures were taken in. The similar Ring-Turtle-Dove is not elminated in the write-up. |

Others have expressed concern about the lightness of the under-tail. I think it's an artifact of lighting/exposure. I'm comfortable accepting both birds as Eurasian Collared-Dove. |
