The size and stubby bill fit that of the Cackling Goose |

I am still convinced that this is a Cackling Goose. |

Small size and stubby bill sound pretty good, but more description would be better. |

I still feel that the size and stubby bill rule out CAGO. |

It's likely that the observer actually saw a Cackling Goose, but his report was just too brief to be convincing to me. |

I'm going to reject this one again, for the reason I expressed in the last round. |

size & bill shape sound good |

I can see other voter's concerns that not enough details are presented ... (but the Mallard-like size still sounds convincing to me) |

The Mallard-similar size reported would indicate a minima, but it is not clear whether the size was judged only in comparison with the adjacent geese. A good candidate for Cackling oose, but report needs further detail. |

The written description doesn't rule out small Canada Goose subspecies. |
