06-13-2007. Shirley Sturts -- Accept Photographs and description fit that of the Cackling Goose	08-03-2007. Sturts -- Reject, specific identification not established I'm going to agree with Lisa that we can, for now anyway, only reliably identify accept the subspecies minima.
6/13/07. Cliff Weisse -- Accept Photos show head and bill shape as well as overall smaller size compared to Canada Goose.	8/4/07. Cliff Weisse -- Accept Photos show relevant field marks to confirm the identification of Cackling Goose.
06-16-2007. Dave Trochlell -- Accept The description of this bird is a bit spare, but the photos are very convincing.	08-10-2007. Dave Trochlell -- Accept I'm going to "stick to my guns" for this 2nd round on this one, because the photos indicate the correct head and bill confirmation for Cackling Goose.
6-29-07. Carlisle -- Accept Description too brief but photo looks good for one of the larger Cackling subspecies (maybe hutchinsii based on the pale breast). Hard to get a sense of bill & forehead shape from photo 1 but 2 & 3 are helpful.	8-17-07. Carlisle -- Accept no change from 1st round

Hardy -- Reject, specific identification not established This looks like a good candidate for Cackling Goose, but the reporter calls it a Richardson's, which cannot be reliably identified by sight. The voice description is suggestive of CACG, though not sufficient to establish id.	9 August 2007. Hardy -- Reject, specific identification not established Report does not establish that this bird is not a smaller subspecies of CANG.
07-02-2007. chuck trost -- Accept At first I was going to reject because of the pale breast, but one pic had the flat head and rising forehead of a cackler.	08-07-2007. chuck trost -- Accept Excellent photos. Head shapr and size right and bill size and body size right for a cackler.
