After again reviewing the photos I feel the bill shape is suggestive of Canada Goose. |

It is a tricky bird, but I do believe this to be a Cackling Goose. |

I still think it looks like a Cackling Goose. |

I'll admit to not always being certain in separating Cackling from Lesser Canadas but: 1) isn't the bird behind the 'bird in question' a Lesser (parvipes) Canada? and 2) the bill and forehead both look steeper/more angled than what I think of for a Lesser Canada. Thus, I still lean towards Cackling. |

The size, head and bill shape still convince me that this is probably a Cackling Goose. |

Same comments as the last vote. I'm not convinced that this isn't a parvipes Canada Goose. |

I'm still not comfortable with the bill shape on this individual. Based on the photos I'm not confident that parvipes Canada Goose can be ruled out. |

The bird is small, but the underparts seem too bright for Cackling Goose. |

After re-examining the photograph and looking at other sources I'm changing my vote to accept. |

Too large to be a minima - only race identifiable in field as CACG. |

The bill and head structure and size are convincing. |

I'm still convinced. |

(After reviewing Harry's guide & other info), I still think the bill/head shape look right for a Cackling Goose |

Good pictures - the head shape, size, and bill length all look like a Cackler to me. |

The head and bill shape still look Ok to me, and the size in comparison with the mallard in the second photo is quite convincing. |

This one looked like a possible hutchinsii Cackling Goose to me, because of the unique head and bill shape. |

I supported this record in the first round, but now wonder if the smaller goose in the images could be a parvipes Canada Goose. Because of my doubts, I'm going to reject the record. |
