looks good ... but I do wonder why it wasn't competed more specifically against Cinnamon Teal (yes, Green-winged is the expected winter teal but Cinnamon female is more similar in appearance)

Carefully observed and the pictures were adequate to confirm the bill shape. I agree that this was not a GWTE or a CITE, but worry slightly thatit may be a hybrid with the latter.

While a bit more discussion of head & bill structure would have helped separate this bird from a possible Cinnamon Teal (Anas cyanoptera), enough plumage characteristics were mentioned, coupled with the fairly diagnostic photos, to accept this record.
