This can be a confusing bird, but Cliff mentions all of the important field marks and safely eliminates similar species.

The two wing bars, white under tail coverts, short tail, and general color convince me.

Although compared with both Pine (Dendroica pinus) and Bay-breasted (D. castanea) Warblers, this identification can be pretty tough in the Fall. While the report is brief, the observer notes enough of the critical field marks, particularly the olive back coloration and white undertail coverts, to give me enough confidence to accept.

Good, careful description (foot color would be helpful too, if seen).
